*Private Health Fund rebates available through most funds in Australia. Contact your private health fund to discuss the rebates available under your Policy for Exercise Physiology.
GP Referrals
If you have a GP referral to see our Exercise Physiologist, your our initial consultation (a longer more in depth consultation) will incur a small gap fee. Then subsequent follow-up visits with a referral will be Bulk Billed.
If you believe you may be eligible for the Medicare referral, speak to your GP about whether you would benefit from a 'Chronic Disease Management Plan' (EPC/TCA: see below). Eligible patients are able to claim up to five (5) Medicare rebates for their treatment.

Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Program
The Medicare Chronic Disease Management Program (CDM) is also known as an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) or Team Care Arrangements (TCA).
Our Accredited Exercise Physiologists specialise in the delivery of exercise and lifestyle modification programs for people with chronic conditions. The plan is designed to provide specialised individual treatment services to patients who have a chronic medical condition and complex care needs.
A ‘chronic’ disease is defined as one that has been or is likely to be present for 6 months or longer. Seventy percent of general practice visits are related to chronic disease. These include a range of commonly preventable health conditions.
